 r 20 years' experience of indirect taxation\, having previously worked as a
 n indirect tax consultant for two Big 4 firms and a privately-owned group s
 pecialising in property investment and fund management\, principal investme
 nts\, and financial services.<span> </span></p><p>Luigi chairs the Indirect
  Taxes pillar within the PKF network\, is a member of the PKF International
  Tax Committee and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) i

 ing previously worked with PwC in the UK and in France (1976-2017).</p><p c
 lass="body">He now works for French law firm Hedeos. He is president of the
  International VAT Association\, and a member of the EU Commission’s VAT Ex
 pert Group.</p><p class="body">Stephen is also a founding board member of b
 oth the Association de la Pratique de la TVA européenne (APTE)\, and the As
 sociation des Représentants Fiscaux Français and a member of the OECD’s TAG
  on consumption taxes. </p><p>Stephen lectures at three French universities
  on indirect and UK taxation.</p>
