recent years. Join us on the Tuesday 17 November at 11.00am for our webina

Regulations are designed to provide tax authorities with additional inform
ation in order for them to target and close perceived loopholes in tax legi

you will need to monitor any cross border transactions or arrangements and
determine if\, when and where you will be required to report.

Over
two and a half years’ worth of transactions and arrangements will need to b

SUMMARY: Broking Briefing Webinar: Brexit – three months on
DESCRIPTION: Join us as Howard Jones examines the structural and tax matter
s affecting insurance intermediaries and Louise Fryer covers key employment
 tax issues relating international employees.
X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
We would be delighted if you could join us
on 30 March 2021\, for our webinar on how Brexit has affected UK i
ntermediaries operating in Europe from a structural and employment
 perspective.

The EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) signed
in December\, but not yet ratified by the EU Parliament\, provides a framew
ork for the supply of goods but has very limited assistance for service pro
viders.

The provision of cross border financial services will be ba
sed on regulatory equivalence which is to be decided unilaterally by the UK
and EU. In the absence of any help\, insurance intermediaries have therefo
re made their own arrangements to continue servicing their EU clients. The
TCA does\, at least\, provide some commitment to cross border workers.

As we are now three months into the new regime\, companies should revie
w how their current actions are measuring up to plan and where the main cha
llenges are.

Join us as Howard Jones examines the structural and ta
x matters affecting insurance intermediaries and Louise Fryer covers key em
ployment tax issues relating international employees.
